We understand that families come in all shapes, sizes and packages. Our family travel insurance policies can cater for 2 adults and up to 7 children! We class children as anyone under the age of 18 that is living with you, you being the adult that is taking out the policy. Children can be biological, fostered, adopted, grandchildren or step-children – if you consider yourselves a family then so do we.

Multi-Trip family holiday insurance allows the adults to travel independently of the rest of the insured, while still having access to full cover levels. However, children under the age of 17 are not allowed to travel independently on any of our travel insurance policies.

When travelling on a family policy, each person is covered individually. This means that if, for instance, one person has their luggage stolen (we hope not) then only the one person will need to submit a claim, and they will be entitled to claim up to the cover level stated on your chosen policy. In the same instance, only the one person claiming would be required to pay the excess stated on the chosen cover level.
